Zoella x ColourPop Review

Hi everyone, happy Sunday! Today I was actually going to post some pics of my Spring room decor but I rescheduled it at last-minute because I wanted to review the new Zoella ColourPop range. Spoiler: I’m in LOVE with it. The packaging is unreal and all the shades are soo pigmented. I ordered the eyeshadow palette, 2 liquid lipsticks and the eyeliner to try out so I’m going to do an in-depth review of each of the products. Let me know your thoughts on the Zoella x Colourpop range too!DSC_0718DSC_0705DSC_0702

Zoella x ColourPop Brunch Date Pressed Powder Palette

Price – $18

DSC_0728DSC_0743This palette contains 12 different shades and they are all so wearable. I love wearing smokey, brown shades on my eye and all these shades are perfect for doing just that. There is also a gorgeous navy blue shade called ‘Brunch Club’ which I’m very intrigued to try. It’s a colour a bit outside of my comfort zone but I think you could create an amazing eyeshadow look with it. The shades are also really pigmented and easy to blend. Finally, I LOVE the packaging for this eyeshadow palette. It is so cute and kinda 80s themed. I think that theming the whole range around brunch is a really cute idea and I love all the brunch-themed eyeshadow names.

Zoella x Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in ‘Little One’

Price – $6.50DSC_0742

Left – ME, Middle – LITTLE ONE, Right – Gel Liner in Sincerley Yours

This matte lip has a really different consistency compared to other matte lips I’ve tried on before and I love it. It literally feels weightless on my lips and it applies on so evenly. Throughout the evening, I was eating and drinking and it didn’t come off AT ALL! There were no cracks and didn’t smear off – it’s such an amazing formula. I’m a sucker for nude lips, so when I saw this one in the range, I couldn’t resist. It’s a slightly orangey nude and such a gorgeous shade. I feel like this shade literally goes with any makeup look and I can’t wait to start wearing it in summer, I feel like this shade will go perfectly with a tan.

Ultra Matte Lip in the shade ‘Me’ –

Price – $6.50

The consistency of this matte lip is the exact same as the previous one, so I won’t explain it again. The colour of it is perfect for Spring – it’s a pinkey nude and it’s such a pretty shade. I think this would go perfectly with a ‘Spring Pinks’ eyeshadow look and I can’t wait to get using this shade a little more.

Zoella x ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in ‘Sincerley Yours’

Price – $5 DSC_0739I actually didn’t realise that this eyeliner was brown until I swatched it, I was expecting to get a black shade but I hadn’t looked at the description on the ColourPop website! I wouldn’t usually wear a brown eyeliner but I’m so glad that I accidentally ordered it. This eyeliner goes perfectly with a smokey nude eyeshadow look and it’s a lot more wearable and less glam than a black eyeliner. I was very intrigued by the ‘creme gel’ consistency of this eyeliner and, after trying it out, I really like it. It’s a lot softer and less harsh than your average liner and creates a lovely subtle line that you can blend.DSC_0722DSC_0706

I hope you enjoyed this review and let me know ou thoughts on the new Zoella ColourPop range!
