Mask Time – Face Mask Subscription Box Review

Mask Time kindly offered to send me their ‘Glow Setter’ face mask subscription box and it’s safe to say that I am IN LOVE!! I’ve always been a lover of face masks, in particular sheet masks. I think they’re perfect for if you need a bit of a pamper and leave my skin feeling really nourished and hydrated. I’d never heard of a face mask subscription before so I was very excited to try it out and it’s safe to say I was ~very~ pleasantly surprised! I’ve tried a few of the sheet masks out so I thought I’d give you my overall verdict on Mask Time.DSC_2406

What Is Mask Time?

Mask Time is a funky Korean sheet mask subscription service, the latest trends in sheet masks plus added goodies delivered straight to your door each month! Inside your box you will find 8 – 10 masks and maybe a bonus beauty item! Also included is your ‘Masking Guide’ which has all the details of each mask and how to apply.

I received the Glow Setter box and it contained 10 face masks and 1 bonus product. The Glow Setter box is designed for people who want more diverse face masks. Every face mask is from a different company so you get a great variety! Also, they do a Glow Starter box which is for newbies fresh to Korean Beauty or people who don’t use face masks that often.

How Much Does It Cost?

For the Glow Setter box, it costs £24.99 including shipping and the Glow Starter box costs £9.95. All the face masks are sourced from Korea!

What is Inside?

I received the September Mask Time box and it was all about nourishing your skin after being in the sun and prepping your skin for autumn. One of my favourite things about the box was its packaging! Firstly, the box was covered in pink tissue paper with a cute ‘My Mask’ sticker on it. It then has a theme card which gives you a brief overview of the box and this month it said ‘Hello Autumn’ on it. I’m definitely going to be keeping mine for flatlays! They also do themed boxes such as their Holiday Box for Christmas(my favv) and BE MINE box for Valentines Day.  You then have an A5 booklet which explains a bit more about each face mask and how to apply it. This is perfect for if your unsure of which face mask to pick because it gives you a LOT of information! I also think it’s really cute that you get to learn a new Korean word each month!

What Is Your Favourite Face Mask?

Although I haven’t had chance to try them all out yet, at the moment, my current favourite is the Beauty Bakery Aqua Marine Moisture Mask. My skin tends to get quite dry around this time of year so I thought this sheet mask would be perfect. It really hydrated my skin and it felt so smooth afterwards! The mask was also full of ‘rich minerals’ and nutrients from Laminaria Japonica which really nourished my skin.DSC_2399

This one also looks really interesting!

What are the Bonus Products?

In each box you get a bonus product which I thought was really cool! This month, the bonus product was a Green Harmony Blueberry Mask Pack(RRP £3.00). It’s a wash off mask and it’s designed to increase the skins elasticity and give your skin a deep moisture. Blueberries also contain vitamin A,B and C along with antioxidants and phytochemicals to help reverse damaged skin. So, all in all, it contains a lot of good things for your skin!DSC_2391
