Last week, I attented my first blogger event and I thought I’d share what we did and a bit more about The Skirting Board Shop. It was a lovely couple of hours filled with pastries, painting and meeting a few bloggers.
Let’s be honest, I’m not the best artist, especially not when using paints, so I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece but I thought I’d base my canvas on our recent visit to the Lake District. I love that the Lake District has a mixture of forests and countryside but also beaches. The idea behind the workshop was about how you can evoke different countries in your house through the use of paints and decoration.
After going to watch Mamma Mia 2(it was SUCH a good film), I was really inspired by all the Greece decor. I love the all blue and white tones, I think they’re so relaxing and bring a really chilled vibe into the room. I’ve picked a few of my favourite interior items that remind me of Greece.
