Now that summer is in full swing (hello to 6 weeks off and a heatwave), I have been doing my makeup a bit more regularly and that means I’ve accumulated a couple of new holy-grail products. I’ve practically used these products every day for the past couple of weeks so I thought it was only right to do a quick blog post on them. Enjoy!
NYX Matte Liquid Lipstick –
I’m a lover of matte liquid lipstick (mainly for the reason that I can eat without having to keep reapplying) and of a nude lip so put the two together and it’s a match made in heaven! The shade of this lipstick is dreamy, it’s nude but with a hint of peach and it doesn’t feel drying on your lips at all. The price is also amazing (£6) so I’m definitely going to be going back for more shades of this!

Soap and Glory Glow All Out Highlight Stick –
I feel like I’ve already mentioned this in loads of other beauty blog posts but IT IS SOO GOOD! It’s really blendable, easy to apply and has the perfect amount of shimmer to it. It gives you a really dewy, sun kissed look and it stays on my face all day.

I Heart Revolution Surprise Eggs –
I got this for my birthday back in May and I’ve been using it ever since! I absolutely love the whole ‘I Heart Revolution’ brand, I think it’s so affordable and the pigmentation and quality of all their products is amazing. This surprise egg didn’t fail to disappoint – it’s so pigmented and the shades are so pretty and wearable. The highlighter part is my favourite, I use both the shades to do a bit of contour and it works really well.

Eye-Lure Black Eye Magic Mascara –
I started using this because it was in Birchbox and I’ve been using it almost everyday since. It really extends and separates each individual lash and it’s just as good as using false lashes (apart from that it’s SO much easier to apply). It’s not clumpy at all, which is definitely a must for me – I just hate thick, clumpy mascaras, they make my eyes feel ~so~ heavy.
