A Summer Pamper Routine

In the summer, the warm weather often puts me of having a pamper as it’s sometimes a bit too hot and stuffy. I’ve recently been changing my pamper routine a bit for summer, so I can keep my skin nice for summer but not feel so hot and sweaty(yummy)and I think this is perfect! I love to have a bit of a pamper on a Sunday because then I feel all fresh and ready for the week ahead but you can do this anytime!

Firstly, I have a bath. I always make sure to put a bit more cold water in it than usual and I normally use a Lush bath bomb/bubble bar. I then put all the products that I’m going to use on the bath shelf and make myself a cup of tea and a good book. At the moment, I’ve been loving the Superdry jelly body wash, it’s really fresh and moisturising on your skin. I always amp up my body exfoliation in summer because it helps to sustain a healthy tan. The Superdry body scrub has been PERFECT for that and it also smells delicious which is always a plus.

When I get out the bath, I usually take my makeup off using Garnier Micellar Water and do a longer skincare routine. I use Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to take off any extra bits of makeup and to clean my face. It’s really gentle and moisturising on your skin too. After that, I then use a Wild Rose Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial. This leaves my skin feeling so moisturised and smooth the next day but isn’t too thick to apply either which is perfect for summer.

I then like to get into my pjs/loungewear and moisturise my body using the Superdry Body Butter. I normally turn all my fairy lights on, have a green/peppermint tea and read a book before getting an early night.
