You know those days when you fancy something a bit different from the standard weetabix and banana but you can’t be bothered spending an hour in the kitchen. I’ve got you covered! Here are a few very quick breakfast ideas that are still delicious.
I love a bowl of porridge, especially in the Winter time. It warms you up and I’m not hungry for aggesss. I love to top my porridge with anything thing I can find:syrup, honey, raisins, banana…The list goes on! This time I thought I’d Winter my porridge up by adding some cranberries and syrup. It was AMAZING! If you’re wondering what my recipe for the perfect bowl of porridge is I do 1 cup of oats(the big Flahavans jumbo oats) and 2 cups of milk and it’s the best!
Yoghurt and Fruit:
This is my go-to breakfast on the weekdays purely because of how quick it takes to make! I’ve recently discovered The Collective mango yoghurt and I can safely say it’s the best yoghurt I’ve ever eaten! It tastes more like a pudding than a yoghurt whilst still being kinda healthy. I normally top my yoghurt with whatever fruit we have in the house. Today I went for strawberries, grapes and melon and I topped it with a drizzle of honey.
Overnight Oats/Granola Pot:
I like that you can make this the night before so all you have to do is take it out the fridge and you’re good to go! It’s also great to eat on the go, especially if your mason jar has a lid on it. To make it, I layer 40g oats, yoghurt and fruit(strawberries are my favourite) in a mason jar/ cup and top with honey. I then leave it in the fridge overnight so when you wake up the oats have absorbed the yoghurt and it tastes AMAZING!
